Tasked by the University Board to breathe new life into an icon, KKAD led the restoration of the Nittany Lion Inn after a competitive three-year selection process. As the hotel had been constructed in multiple phases over six decades, our design team worked to create a unified aesthetic that honors the property’s heritage while reopening it as a premier destination in State College.
